  • In early 2025, Bluesky hit 20 million users, establishing itself as an up-and-coming rival to other microblogging platforms, Threads and X.

To address the need for comprehensive social guidance for this new channel, I conducted research and raised my findings to senior management as an opportunity to help clients build an authentic voice on an emerging social media channel. My research was published internally, and the strategies I proposed were adopted by client teams seeking to diversify their social media presence.

  • During my internship with NP Agency, I composed a bi-monthly newsletter covering industry news, relevant policy shifts, and recent client projects.

I also wrote a cumulative, end-of-year newsletter, summarizing a new nonprofit’s work and accomplishments in their inaugural year.

  • The bread and butter of public relations. Here are several examples of pitches, press releases, , and ICYMIs from my work in internships and college courses:

  • In both my roles at Walk by Faith and NP Agency, I managed social media calendars, drafted copy, and designed graphics for content on a variety of social media platforms.

  • Over the course of several weeks, I pitched and secured placements in local LA news outlets and community calendars for the Sawdust Art Festival: Winter Fantasy. This effort included organizing a ticket giveaway with local radio station KCRW.

  • In my final year at university, I led a team of nine students in developing and executing a successful PR campaign on the behalf of the Coalition for the National Museum for the American People, an organized effort to build a museum in Washington, DC dedicated to the American immigrant story.

As team lead, I built a community outreach initiative inviting schools in the DMV area to submit artwork answering the prompt: Who are “We the People?”, to be featured in the museum newsletter and build local awareness for the coalition effort. I also coordinated client communications and meetings, orchestrated division of project deliverables, and assisted in event planning and social media strategy.

  • In addition to building this website with my admittedly novice skillset, I made routine updates and edits to this tracker, monitoring policy changes and current events.

I look forward to expanding my basic web-building skills in future roles.

About.

I am a prospective PR professional, a recent college grad with four years of agency internship experience and a media obsession.

When I say “media obsession”, and you reread the “recent college grad” line, you may think to yourself,

“Ah jeez, not another brainrotted, Gen Z, doomscrolling screenager.”

I am happy to report that not only am I proficient in the Meta Business Suite, I also know how to burn CDs and use a printer.

Jokes aside, I say that I am obsessed with media (plural) because I believe it is the most efficient vehicle of authentic, human connection. Beyond short-form video content, microblogging, and AI-generated bunnies on Facebook, my philosophy is that effective storytelling is rooted in an intimate understanding of communities built around a medium.

From the old dude selling me records at the flea market to my teenage sister’s TikTok algorithm, my ultimate career goal is to become an intergenerational, transmedia expert, who takes creative risks to connect with diverse audiences.

The goal of this website was not to narrate every line on my resume or give you a transcript of all the classes I took in college.

Instead, I want to give you some perspective on my style as a communicator, and hopefully share something that resonates with you.

Maybe you’re also excited about physical media becoming trendy.

Maybe you’re also bored of traditional social strategy and are looking for something fresh.

Maybe you, too, are obsessed with media,
with books, music, movies, photography, poetry, blogs, short films, comics, fashion, podcasts, and art.

You are my audience. Early(ish) to mid career. A manager, coordinator, or director in PR, marketing, or social media. Looking to bring new talent to an entry-level role.

Extroverted, professional, meticulous, with a good sense of humor. Read to the end of this about section.

If I have reached my intended audience, let’s get a fun beverage of your choice and continue this conversation!

Best,
